Project Overview

Aurora Archive explores how everyday activities, choices and emotions continuously shape our inner light. The project brings together a printed archive and an interactive system to make these invisible changes visible.

The publication documents five participants through light-source mappings and aurora portraits. The interactive work invites visitors to adjust six dimensions of their current energy and generate an individual light-source mapping in real time.

How the Interaction Works

Visitors adjust six dimensions of their current energy—Attention, Mental, Emotional, Physical, Social and Action—to generate an individual Light-Source Mapping in real time.

As the values shift, the light becomes unstable, producing brief signal-like distortions that reflect how human energy is constantly fluctuating and reorganising.

INTERACTION
The Printed Archive

The publication brings together five participant cases, translating questionnaire responses into individual light-source mappings and aurora portraits. Through gatefold pages and tracing-paper overlays, each case is revealed in stages—from everyday experience, to mapping, to light.

As the reader unfolds and lifts each layer, the book becomes a physical record of how a person’s light shifts, reorganises and takes form.
