My work is rooted in the language of dreams, myths, and the subtly uncanny. It seeks to uncover and reimagine surreal narratives - that seem both familiar and strange. My compositions convey a sense of uneasiness in the combination of various elements, symbols and bright colours. They vividly bring to life the conflict between the real and the surreal world.
These fragments of stories do not seek resolution; instead, they invite the viewer to dwell into uncertainty and question what is real and what comes from the artist’s imagination. In this way, my art practice is not about telling a fixed tale, but about opening a space where mystery lives.
