An Aftermath, A Crime Scene is a multi-part installation that reinterprets the legend of Saint Margaret—who after resisting a marriage proposal to a Roman imperial power, is consumed by the devil in the form of a dragon as punishment. However, she manages to liberate herself through an act of violent faith, by choking the dragon with her crucifix. Through eight interrelated works, the piece interrogates the construction of monstrosity and the fluid thresholds between victimhood and agency.
