Bio

I am a multidisciplinary artist primarily working across textile, sculptural, and charcoal mediums to create work responding to the mark-making behind unnoticed labour in domestic and institutional spaces. My process involves taking samples left behind in the process of cleaning and enlarging them in methods that elevate their textural quality as an image. I also use everyday cleaning materials to create and re-create forms that aim to provide a narrative of frustration over cleaning as a domestic service that is cyclical in nature, and generally disregarded.

Outside of my art practice I am interested in community arts programming and collaborative approaches to making and displaying art. I have previously worked as a Community Exhibition Curator to develop public exhibitions within Edinburgh with local community groups, schools and artists across the city.
