Patrick’s international upbringing and dual nationality has planted him as a diverse designer with a passion for detail, presented across his broad realm of work. This includes CAD, Woodwork, metal fabrication, digital design, silversmithing and jewellery.

Welcome to anoloc

anoloc reimagines the relationship between drivers and their phones, tackling one of modern driving's most dangerous distractions. As vehicles become increasingly connected with oversized touchscreens and constant phone notifications, drivers now divide their attention across multiple channels. anoloc is designed to eliminate one of the most dangerous channels of distraction, handheld phone use. Achieved by addressing it before the journey even begins.

The vehicle's starting procedure requires the driver to dock their phone on the anoloc's wireless charger, activating anoloc's overlay push-to-start ignition button.  Once cars ignition is on, anoloc's companion app simultaneously disables the phone's touchscreen while still allowing Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to function a: normal, removing the dangerous temptation of reaching for their phone.

The benefits of reduced cognitive load by removing phone usage with 4 times less likely collision accidents for hand-held callign and up to  20 times less likely if texting. 

By removing direct phone access, anoloc reduces cognitive load and keeps the driver's eyes where they belong, on the road. Less time looking down results in reduced eye deviation, faster reactions, and a safer driving experience overall.
