Bio

Milo Kemp is a London-based composer, arranger and songwriter whose work spans orchestral concert music and contemporary scores for film and visual media. Across his portfolio a love for classical music runs through his work, regardless of style or medium. His recent credits include scoring a Manchester University adaptation of Lucy Prebble's stage play The Effect, and he is currently composing the score for short film All That's Left.

During his time studying at Edinburgh, Milo has specialised in his compositional development, taking courses on production, composing for film, orchestration and a training in formal theory.

An Overture for a Crown

An orchestral re-telling in three movements, depicting the depleting reign of Edward II of England, his deposition by Roger Mortimer, and the puppeteered ascension of Edward III, concluding with the latter’s successful coup d’état and irrefutable positioning upon the throne.

A Piano Quartet in C Minor

A composition for piano, violin, viola and cello.
