Project description

Time is Up! is a visual publication focused on the idea of the “social clock.” It explores how society sets age-based expectations and how these expectations shape the way people judge their own life progress. Combining personal experience with research, the project includes a book, posters, and interactive installations to express time pressure, age anxiety, and self-reflection, suggesting that life does not have to follow one fixed clock.

Clock Installation

This is a clock installation design, where viewers can 'manipulate time' by moving the hands.

When the hands can point to blank spaces, this action itself becomes a sort of cue: time is not only prescribed; it can also be reinterpreted.

Perhaps we cannot completely escape these structures, but we can choose how to respond to them.

Slowing down, pausing, or even slightly deviating may not be a problem.
