FORMA Brand Guidelines

Responding to the opportunity to reimagine the Bernat Klein Studio, I created FORMA, a design museum that celebrates process, experimentation and making. Inspired by the building’s architecture and Klein’s textile work, I developed a full identity and set of brand guidelines that position the space as somewhere design takes shape. A custom coded tool generates patterns from a modular form derived from the logotype, allowing the identity to evolve across exhibitions while staying consistent and recognisable.

Open Invite (Hatch Finalist)

Responding to the BrandOpus Hatch brief to redesign beer for the next generation, I created Open Invite, a social-first beer brand designed to fit into Gen Z lifestyles and prioritise real-world connection over consumption. Using a ticket-based system and bold, minimal identity, each can acts as a trigger for shared experiences, turning the product into a reason to go out, connect and be part of something. The identity is intentionally simple and flexible allowing it to adapt across events, collaborations and different contexts while staying confident and distinct.

Wee Red Bar Book

After researching the history of Edinburgh College of Art’s Wee Red Bar, I realised how important the space once was within the creative community and how its presence has become increasingly hidden over time. Wanting to preserve its memory and encourage continued engagement with the venue, I conducted interviews with people connected to the bar and created a tactile publication that archives it through stories, imagery and collected ephemera. Using a custom typeface inspired by the original signage, the project captures the energy and nostalgia surrounding the Wee Red Bar, positioning it as both a time capsule and a celebration of creative community.

About Me

Hi, I’m Lola! I’m drawn to design as a way of shaping unclear ideas into something people can understand and connect with. I love researching and refining ideas, and I’m always looking for ways to bring my work into more hands on, tangible forms. I’m particularly interested in concept-led, story-driven work that creates a sense of connection and community. I enjoy working across identity and editorial to create work that feels both structured and expressive.
