About
Viviana works with a variety of mediums, both digital and physical, to create surreal, distorted and vulnerable depictions of the cacophonous cityscape as she sees it - one that mirrors the cacophony of grief. The City Rat Sublime is the culmination of a project that has focused on geometry, light, sound, marks in the pavement and the bus - both as a facilitator of motion and a chamber of reflection. Viviana has collected found objects and reimagined their purposes as part of an immersive and playful installation that uses video, poetry, graffiti and sculpture to bring the outside inside and simultaneously, the grieving inside outside.
