The theme of contamination is a lingering stain that seeps itself across my research and practice. Contamination in this context refers not to a specific illness, disease, or infection, but to an inescapable consequence of life. My practice explores contamination as a physical and psychological experience.

CONTAMINATED, INTERROGATED, INVADED, ISOLATED is the title of my extended multidisciplinary project. These four violent emotions have informed my material research, resulting in a body of work that grapples with intimate feelings of discomfort.

CLINICAL CONSENT

Located in C06, 'clinical consent' is a sculptural work that invites the audience to penetrate its structure and inspect its internal collection. Inside, the walls are overwhelmed with casts of dilators, gynaecological instruments used to train the pelvic floor. Isolated within this disconcerting clinical zone, the audience is forced to confront these instruments in this abstracted form.
