This project aims to reflect on the various complex and multifaceted predicaments faced by contemporary society members by a fictional story ( depicting the different reactions and behaviors of different people in society when confronted with the sudden appearance of unknown monsters). The key feature of the illustrations in this comic lies in the use of various visual designs and character designs to emphasize the narrative.

The Narrative
The story of this comic takes place in the police department of a fictional country. The protagonist in the story has to deal with excessive overtime work, corrupt colleagues and the government, deteriorating living conditions caused by war, and the estrangement of family members from each other. After an unknown monster appeared in his city, the protagonist eventually crossed the moral boundary and used the monster to harm others.
