Bio

During my final year at ECA, I have worked on multiple picture book projects, which is one of my main interests. I enjoy telling stories in my work, as well as creating content that is both educational and inspirational. Nature is one of the primary themes in my work; I like to create colourful illustrations which celebrate the plants and wildlife around us, and hopefully inspire others to connect with nature. Throughout my illustrations, I enjoy experimenting with colour, pattern and texture. One of my favourite mediums is collage as it allows me to be quite playful within my work. I also like to combine collage textures with digital techniques to create interesting compositions.

Water of Leith Patterns

Collage

Series of pattern designs celebrating the plants and wildlife along the Water of Leith in Edinburgh. I focused on different elements in each pattern such as flowers, butterflies and fish. These designs were subsequently used on tea towels and wrapping paper.
