Project Description

Where the Silhouette Lingers is a bespoke interior collection that reimagines antiques through the art of hand-painted and screen-printed wallpaper design. I follow an "anti-new" philosophy, the project rejects fast, fleeting trends in favour of timeless craftsmanship and enduring design. Drawing inspiration from antique decorative ornamentation, I translate their colour, composition and character into richly layered mural-like pieces. Each design is tailored to individual tastes, offering a level of exclusivity rarely found in mass produced interiors.

With a strong emphasis on colour, the collection embraces deep, jewel-toned palettes to evoke mood, memory and atmosphere, challenging the light, minimal aesthetic often expected in contemporary spaces. These dramatic hues form a cohesive visual language that speaks to history while transforming interiors into expressive, intimate environments.

Where the Silhouette Lingers ultimately offers a meaningful alternative to fast design, honouring the past through handcrafted, enduring pieces that redefine how we connect with space.
