I am a recent graduate of the University of Edinburgh, with a BA (Hons) in Film and Television. For my graduate film, I was the producer of the graduate documentary, Inherited Silence - directed by Lola Barrero. I have been involved in the project from almost the very beginning, working directly with Lola to bring her project into fruition. In this role, I organised the narrative, helped to edit, and coordinated technical and organisational aspects of production.
I aim to use documentaries as a tool to inspire social change, and am keen on propelling voices from marginalised communities. My experience ranges from film production (with a portfolio of independent and graduate productions), to film journalism. Within my degree, I was also selected for a competitive placement at Emily Carr University of Art and Design in Vancouver, Canada - studying Film & Screen Arts. I am now looking for entry-level roles as a Production Assistant or Runner on larger productions.
