Deb, a timid girl, shares a two-bedroom apartment with her roommate Sansa. One night, Deb comes home to find an unfamiliar pair of men's trainers in the living room and asks Sansa about them, but no one responds. When she goes back to her room to read a horror novel, she suddenly hears arguing and slapping noises coming from next door. Terrified, she walks to Sansa's room and tries to knock on the door but is frightened by the sudden violent turning of the door handle and flees back to her room, where she discovers a puddle of ‘red liquid’ slowly flowing into her room through a crack in the door. She scrambled to hide with a chair against the door, only to find that her mobile phone was missing and she was completely devastated. Earlier in the evening, Sansa had taken her boyfriend Jesse home to watch a football match, and the pair had watched the game on headphones, shouting in excitement and slapping their thighs to let off steam. After drinking some bad tomato juice, Jesse throws it into a rubbish bag and tries to throw the bag out of the room, but mistakenly scares Deb outside the door, who eventually opens the bag in the bathroom and discovers that the so-called ‘red liquid’ is just tomato juice and that the ‘horror scene’ is just a ridiculous misunderstanding. ‘The film is presented in a darkly humorous style.
