Amira Badawy Albayoumy is graduating from her masters of science in Digital Media Design in November 2026. During her time at the University of Edinburgh, she served as a Student Programme Representative (2024-2025). She is based in Cairo, Egypt and grew up in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. She has a career background in academia, media agencies, the UN, and currently works in the diplomatic field. She also learned to integrate her education into her professional roles through the Edinburgh Award scheme. As a multimedia enthusiast, she is fueled by a passion for pushing the boundaries of creativity to achieve impactful results. As a seasoned Graphic Designer and Audio-Visual professional, she had the privilege of working on diverse projects integrating the boundless technologies of XR and mixed media into her work. She has teaching experience at the American University in Cairo, where she served as a Teaching Assistant for undergraduate Film courses, and was an instructor for a Coursera pathway on Graphic Design.
