You’ll have an opportunity to book a place at a talk about your degree programme. If you’re still picking between a few degree programmes, you can attend more than one session.
Due to the graduate show, some of our facilities will not be available to view at the open day on the tour. You will still be able to see examples of student work at the Graduate Show.
Specific technical spaces to be included on the tours will be updated in May 2026.
Due to limited space, these tours are for prospective students only. Parents, carers, guardians and friends are welcome to visit the grad show or grab a coffee in the café for the duration of the tour.
You do not need to book a place for a tour, these are available as drop ins on the day between 10:00 – 12:30 and 13:30 – 16:00.
As this open day coincides with our Graduate Show, you’ll have the opportunity to see student work from across our programmes. From Film & TV to Landscape Architecture, the graduate show gives you an opportunity to see what you could do with a degree at ECA.
You can drop in to the Wee Red Bar at any time throughout the day to ask our student support team any questions you have about support throughout your studies.

We’ll be hosting three information sessions about what we look for from applicant portfolios at Edinburgh College of Art.
Degrees that require a portfolio as part of the application process:
There will be a recording of a portfolio guidance session available afterwards for anyone who is unable to attend.
We will explore all options to avoid cancelling on-campus events, however there may be rare occasions where events or sessions are cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. We are unable to accept liability for any costs incurred by visitors (e.g. travel, accommodation). Therefore you may wish to consider travel insurance or flexible tickets.
