Project description

Flowing Together is a mixed-media installation series featuring eight pieces that combine various forms of wood, stone, pewter, and resin in different sizes. The art pieces are individually named Flowing Together (1)-(8).

This series explores the multiple elements of the ecosystem that not only survive and depend on each other but are also inextricably interconnected, constantly influencing and restructuring each other. This intricate network of relationships also mirrors the complexity of the human experience, particularly in refining our sense of self. As we rebuild our self-memories, feelings, personalities, and thoughts from life’s ‘crashed stuff’, we do so within this complex environment, where harmony or discord, with or without acceptance, becomes part of our unique growth journey.
