"Elsewhere is a negative mirror."

"Is what you see always behind you?"

"Does your journey take place only in the past?"

"You advance always with your head turned back?"

Project description

Little That Is Never Mine, is a series of illustrations inspired by Invisible Cities by Italo Calvino. Each image is inspired by one specific quote from the book. Each illustration interprets the quote, and the quote itself is also integrated into the illustration seamlessly. This series also explores composition and the use of empty space visually and conceptually.
