Bio
Valentina's paintings discover dream-like landscape and imagined figures, inspired by the emotions and memories of her childhood. She uses bright colour and aggressive mark making to reflect the uncomfortable reality of being a quiet child in pain. Valentina makes nods to religion, superstition and Italian mythology throughout her work, carving out symbols and hidden imagery within the paint.
