Synopsis

Through a poetic monologue, the filmmaker communicates what moving from Romania to Scotland meant for her and what emotions this change came equipped with, ranging from resentment to love. While the film grieves, it also revels in the comfort of home, using visuals and verses to both evoke it and forgive it: the sound of pigeons, the lime tree and tall balcony – the sense and memory of place.
