Comparative flood simulation before and after interventions

Flood peaks are delayed, and the duration of flooding is shortened, offering protection to numerous homes and municipal infrastructure. However, there may still be isolated instances where a small number of factories and residences experience minor flooding, but the water level is very shallow.

Framework

The overall framework is 
divided into two aspects: 

Runoff management and flood control. Runoff management incorporates a series of Low Impact Development (LID) facilities aligned with runoff paths, designed to reduce runoff velocity, absorb and store runoff, purify the water, and delay the peak of flooding.
Flood control involves topographic changes to decrease flood volumes and direct floodwaters to safe temporary storage areas, protecting downstream town area. Additionally, I have factored in the balance of excavation and fill and the protection of farmland, encouraging community stewardship.
