Herald: A Tudor-Inspired Concept Art Project

My work bridges the gap between Concept Art and Illustration. My process is very organic and experimental, and I prefer to find structure through considered research and use this as a basis for experimentation.

My central final year project is a series of Tudor-inspired character designs combining catwalk fashion, gender non-conformity and historical research into 18 unique characters. The final book is a companion to a hypothetical visual narrative game and offers insights into the design process as well as wider world-building and historical roots.
