Project description

About Time explores the overlapping temporal dimensions in architecture, emphasising the transient nature of the human experience juxtaposed with the permanence of our creations. My methodology involves the transportation of ‘time’ through different materials and processes of making, each stage being a collaboration with the temporal quality of the material and process. By emphasising the tension between the ephemeral and the eternal, I aim to highlight our intricate relationship with time. Our role as designers is to think beyond the moment. In the end, our creations are not about us; they are always About Time

Bio

Driven by a response to the Anthropocene Epoch, I am passionate about unveiling hidden narratives within the built environment to create conversations surrounding how we can design for a better future. Rooted in a fascination with phenomenology, my approach considers the subliminal and the multi-sensory, aiming to balance pragmatism with poetry to craft spatial experiences embedded with allegory. I often draw upon philosophy, literature, art, and history to highlight the role design plays in shaping the social climate.
