Ceramic Limpet Structures laid out in a row
About

Inspired by my recent move to the Highlands, my art practice delves into the concept of 'home' through the symbol of the limpet, blending folklore, storytelling, and personal reflections. Pressing limpet shells into clay repeatedly, strange shapes start to grow, telling a story of finding belonging amidst change. The transformation of the kiln captures the ephemeral nature of my emotional journey. I invite viewers on a journey transcending geographical boundaries, offering glimpses into the universal search for connection. Come in, relax, and make yourself at home.
